I submitted my resume attached to the online application. A week later the office manager called and asked if I was still looking for a job, and if so could I come in the following week for an interview. At the interview, I met with one of the DVM's first. He explained the computer system, how scheduling of surgeries and appointments were handled. The office manager met with me next. She gave me a tour of the Hospital. I was then told how hard HER job was and that she was very upset the their clients would refuse treatments due to cost but spend "tons" of money on the clothes and accessories in PetSmart. I was then told to expect a phone call later next week. She was going to have to ask her manager if they could hire me. I was NOT asked about my background (office manager of an emergency and critical care practice or my 10 years of private practice management). I received a phone call a few days later from the store manager that they were going in a different directions and I would not be needed.
