I had a very positive interview experience with Banner Health. The recruiter and nurse manager were both friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the interview. It felt more like a conversation than an interrogation, best interview I've had.
First, I had a phone screen with the recruiter. The following week I was scheduled for a video interview.
The interview was mostly behavioral and situational questions, such as teamwork, handling difficult situations, communication, and why I wanted to work for Banner.
I was not asked about clinical knowledge questions, but was asked about clinical experience and what I learned from it.
The recruiter communicated well throughout the process, and I heard back within a reasonable timeframe.
After receiving an offer, I was encouraged to take time in making my decision, which was really considerate!
Overall, I found the interview to be welcoming, organized, and a positive experience for a new graduate nurse.
