This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in an interview from a candidate experience perspective. I understand Banyan is scaling and building out recruitment practices but truly the way I and I can only assume others are being treated is down right wrong. I started interviewing in mid Dec and finished the whole interview process in a week. After finishing all rounds of the process instead of getting a offer/rejection I see they re-opened the job to the general public and also email me saying they got some "internal referrals" they want to interview over the holidays. At this point I'm not rejected but being told to sit tight while they interview more "referrals" aka external candidates. I ask to chat on the phone about this and get emailed a day later after 5pm as everyone leaves for Christmas break. I follow-up after Christmas break and get told to wait until EOW and now its been an extra 3 business day with no response. I'd highly recommend a more personal touch to your interview process as it's important to remember you're selling the candidate on your company as much as they're selling you on themselves! This has been lost and forgotten for many and hope there will be changes to this in the future.
