I applied online. I interviewed at Base CRM

      Interview

I had an initial 10 min phone screen and was not given an opportunity to ask questions. After the 10 min screen I was scheduled for a Google Hangout video interview with the Operations Manager and Senior Sales Manager, 30 minutes each, back to back on the same day. The Operations manager asked me specific behavioral based questions, and promptly wrapped up the interview without giving me a chance to ask questions. I'm an out of market candidate and relocation or salary didn't come up at all, and the process was so rushed that I didn't have the chance to ask. After my video chat with the Ops Manager, I then met with the Senior Sales Manager. We spent about 25 minutes together, and nearly the whole time he was staring at his computer and completely disengaged. In my opinion, very disrespectful as I'm taking the time to speak with them and he can't show the common courtesy and respect be engaged in the interview. Not surprisingly, I received an email 3 days later saying I was passed on for the role, with no feedback. Not a big deal to me, as I had already self selected out based on my experience. The interview process speaks volumes to the company culture and the type of behaviors they promote. If leaders in the company act that way during the interview process, when you are trying to sell your company to prospective candidates, I can't imagine how they treat employees.
