      Oct 22, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Rochester, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bausch + Lomb (Rochester, NY) in Jun 2011

      Interview

was great, just be yourself be honest and tell them what you can bring to your territory. Bring a 30-60-90 plan and be prepared. Don't allow yourself to rush through the process.

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bausch + Lomb (Boston, MA) in May 2016

      Interview

met with a RM at a hotel. He was very professional---we walked through my resume and he asked me some general interview questions. There was a 2 week lag from receiving an email from HR to the time that I met with the RM. HR was backlogged so I did not get an HR phone screen.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bausch + Lomb in Aug 2011

      Interview

The process began with a 1 hour phone interview. It was basic, lots of situational questions, what do you know about us, etc. They phone interviewed 80 candidates for a local sales territory. The top 4 were then sent on for a face-to-face interview with a regional sales manager. I made it to the regional manager round, where there was a regional and a rep. It was more of the same type of questions, about an hour in length. I did not make it beyond this interview. An internal recruiter told me that they had someone with recent experience that would be a better fit. They did allow an expense report for expenses incurred getting to the interview which I thought was professional.
