I was asked to complete 2 time-intensive tests but I never received any communication directly from a human being. The first test was a take-home test related to mathematics and finance. I spent about 20 hours on the test. The second test was a 1 hour coding exam. It took over a week to hear back after the first exam and nearly 2 weeks to hear back after the coding exam. I found it unprofessional that they asked so much of me without taking the time to so much as send me a personal email. Every email I got was automated. I am not upset that I didn’t make the cut; the trading industry is very competitive. I am, however, upset that they asked for a very large investment on my part without investing anything on their part. I will not apply to Belvedere Trading again.
