      Relationship Manager Interview

      Nov 15, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Benefitfocus

      Interview

The recruiter setup the interview with the hiring manager and I met with them quickly. The interview was odd, it wasn’t behavioral at all and the hiring manager just asked me questions about my current employer almost as if they were on a fact, finding Mission about the state of the company. I followed up with the recruiter after the interview times each time she responded within 24 hours and continuously set expectations that I would know next steps by the following day, yet I had to follow up again. I learned that I wasn’t going to get an offer because the status of my application was changed online to complete but I was completely ghosted by the recruiter. During this time, I had another recruiter reach out to me for another role and I met with him and was promised a follow up by end of week or early next and we are into two weeks after that first interview. My application is still in review, but I have not heard anything. I’ve since accepted another role at another company, but the way I was treated wasn’t very professional.
