The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (Riverside, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
So I applied online & less than a week or so I was contacted by email requesting a phone interview. After I called I was told to come in for a job fair. While there I ended up being interviewed twice. The interviews were vastly different. The first being positive & the second being negative. The guy was very awkward & made me feel insecure (could be due to just me internally). Before that I was waiting 45-1hr so I think my pep had declined at that point but I still feel I did okay despite his attitude & vibe. Was told I’d hear back within a week & immediately getting home I noticed “no longer under consideration” on their website. Very disappointing & a waste of almost two hours of mostly waiting.
I do believe it’s unfair to base whether someone would be a good seller/employee on stupid repetitive questions. Also, like me I get nervous so maybe I’m not my usual self while being interviewed. I’m just upset honestly. It’s discouraging.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Best Buy in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied online and got a call a day later asking for an interview with the department manager, a packet of questions all situational questions. Two days after the initial interview got a call to come in for a 2nd interview with the GM, very short interview under 10 mins asking why you want to work here and about your past job experiences. Once you get the 2nd interview you basically have the job as long as you don't say anything crazy.
