Interview
Interview started off normal, spoke to a recruiter, she was very nice. After that, they scheduled two interviews, one day after the other. I didn't understand why they scheduled two interviews at once, no explanation was given. They also sent a coding exercise, with no explanation of what to do with it or whether to complete it at all.
The first interview seemed to go well. At the end they provided a "technical" challenge, which consisted of a <10 minute code review exercise.
After the first interview, they cancelled the second interview without so much as a note or any kind of explanation. I followed up with the recruiter, and was able to get some feedback from her, but if I hadn't, would I ever have heard any clarification about the cancelled interview? Overall a very strange and poorly organized interview process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Strange and oddly specific code review question concerning SQL injection in rails. I can't overstate how strange it seems to hinge the entire interview process on a specific topic.
Terrible interview experience. They take a looonggg time to respond. The interviewer engaged in an interrogation; asked me questions nonstop and never gave me a chance to ask questions. They use outdated tech and they overwork their employees. The interview process still involves executive leadership, which for a company of their size, is a definite sign of micromanagement. Stay away.

Interview
Not a very good process. Engineering seems disorganized. Too much focus on personal development over moving the business forward. Slow to make decisions & lack of clarity on roles & responsibilities
