A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn asking if I was interested in speaking a role they had open, to which I said yes. I set up a meeting with her about 2 weeks out because there wasn't any availability on her schedule, then she automatically sent an email indicating that this would be an interview, which was not what I was expecting at all. She had to reschedule the meeting day-of, which is understandable because things do happen, but I would appreciate a forewarning.
Even worse, during the actual interview, she was EXTREMELY condescending. I had never felt so disrespected in an interview before. Her tone made it apparent that she felt I was wasting her time by talking to her. She is the one reaching out to people on LinkedIn, so she should be the one vetting people's experience before reaching out! At the end of the interview, I asked a question about the company's culture and she said that I could've read about it on the site. Excuse me for wanting to get her perspective on the company. All of her answers were very short-handed and gave me a TERRIBLE perspective on the company. I'll never interview here again.
