I had applied to the TPM role at Bilt and was told by the recruiter that they had closed the role, but they were still interested in my background for future roles. I met with the recruiter, who went into detail about what the possible TPM role could entail. What the structure of their pods are, what the company culture is like and how much ownership/responsibility TPMs have. It took a week or two to get to speak to the Head of Product, but it makes sense as this was a "bench" role. After speaking with the Head of Product, who was very nice and thoughtful in what he said, I met with someone from their engineering team who gave me more of a download on how we would possibly work together. Questions were complex but more on how I would handle situations, my experience working with engineers and my adaptability. I have kept in touch with the recruiter as right now there is not a role, but really appreciate the transparency there. I think when they post a role, I will continue within the process, but overall it has been a good experience. I did not visit their office yet to comment on that...
