A relatively quick and efficient process that entailed five rounds - a recruiter phone screen, a hiring manager phone screen, an in person meeting with the hiring manager, and an onsite presentation pitch to an executive and the hiring manager. Finally, if you made the mark, you meet with another senior executive. Overall, the hiring team is looking for someone with a strong sales acumen, a passion for the industry, and is a good cultural fit for the team. The questions were standard methodology and process questions, nothing designed to stump you. Feedback was given throughout the process, however, you have to push for feedback to be given - sort of like asking for their business. I asked them either "am I a suitable candidate for this role?" or "do you have any concern about me as a potential candidate?" to receive feedback and they worked like a charm. The only negative that I experienced was that it appeared that they forgot that it's a two way street, you're interviewing them just as much as they are interviewing you. They carry themselves with a mild arrogance i.e. showing up late to interviews, not giving an abundance of time to ask questions, requiring multiple follow ups to move the interview process along. These minor, yet very important instances stand out, and make the candidate left feeling unappreciated.

I had a really positive interview process with Bizzabo. I actually reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn and after a few weeks I received an email asking to do a phone screen. It was a good call and then I had a phone interview with another Account Executive who had been with the company for a while. Only a few days later did I then get invited to an in person interview. I was really impressed when I went into the office as everyone was extremely inviting and warm. My interview was with the Sales Director who definitely asked some challenging questions, but seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. The interview lasted an hour. A few days later, I was asked to prepare a presentation and come back to present as a final interview. I came back, presented to two people on the team ( one being a manager, the other a team lead) and they then had me meet with one of the owners. I was asked some tough questions but very reasonable. 20 minutes after I left, I got an email from the recruiter/HR asking for my references. I was really impressed with the pace of the process as some places take months... I sent my references in and within 48 hours I received an offer!

I had a really great experience. Everyone in the office was extremely welcoming and warm. I had very open conversations with everyone that interview me, so I walked away with a very good understanding of the role and culture of the company. I was referred by someone within Bizzabo, so I'd say the entire process took a little under 2 weeks. The interview consisted of a 30-min phone screen, an hour in-person meeting, and about 2-3 hours for final interviews and a presentation.
