      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bizzabo in Jan 2021

      Interview

Blindsided by an Intentionally Disqualifying Interview Initial screener interview with was excellent; individual who conducted that interview was very positive, informative, and professional. I spent 2 weeks anxiously researching the company and preparing for the next interview. The individual conducting the next interview was late to the Zoom meeting, and began the interview by talking about his personal life for several minutes. He then proceeded to make what I could only interpret as an attempt to intentionally disqualify me for the job. I was eminently qualified for the job as posted, but he started making up different, additional duties, going so far as to give it a different job title, "Tier 4 Transactional Account Manager". (I had to google that after the interview, and couldn't find any definition of that role). I suspect he already had another candidate in mind for this job, and went through the motions of conducting my interview to screen the required number of candidates before he can hire his preferred candidate. My advice to this company - whoever requisitioned this job needs to get on the same page as your recruiter, and be more up-front, transparent, and professional in your hiring process. If you've decided to change the job requisition so radically from the posting that you're referring to it by entirely different job title, the job needs to be re-posted, and applicants should be informed, and not blindsided. It would save everyone a lot of time and frustration.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Interviewer made up a completely different job title from the posted position I applied for, and was interviewing for.
