I applied online. I interviewed at BlackRock in Oct 2015
Interview
The first part of the interview is a video interview, the next round was a Skype call with two BlackRock members who were sitting in separate rooms. They were obviously instant messaging each other throughout the interview and rudely smirking at each other. They were enjoying their conversation more than paying attention to the interview. Disappointing and very distracting. Overall, would not have wanted to work with for the company after that experience.

Tell me something about yourself that is not on your resume.
Too long, 5 rounds not including a recruiter screen and one panel interview with 2 people. Normal interviews but ridiculous process and the pay is not great for a trillion dollar company.
One online interview and three rounds of hirevue until an assessment centre in the offices and coding exam if applying to engineer roles in London. The interview was quite easy and straightforward; really happy with the results
