Started with a 45-minute recruiter call, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and two team members.
Recruiter call was unnecessarily long (45 minutes of rambling), the hiring manager was actually great and someone I would love to work for. The recruiter kept me appropriately warm after this interview, and I was scheduled to speak with one other person. After that interview, there was radio silence for about a week without explanation. I later spoke to a couple team members who seemed to have different expectations of what this role was.
Felt like a waste of time. Lack of internal alignment on the role, inconsistent communication, contradictory policies (in-office requirement but I was talking with several very remote people), and now the role is posted again anyway. Disaster avoided.
