Interview
Applied online and the recruiter reached out for a screening post which had a phone interview with the hiring manager and was called for an on-site. Met with 8 team members 1:1 throughout the course of a half-day interview. There was nothing that I could not answer. The team members were all good and experienced. I would say a very smart team. However, a few days later when I followed up, they gave me a case study and asked to come on-site to present. This just doesn't make sense. I already went on-site - why couldn't they give me a case study in advance of the on-site? Why should a candidate and the team members waste their time like this? I was travelling the following week and couldn't go and present. However, I asked them if I could come in the following week to which they replied a week later saying they moved ahead with another candidate. Stop wasting everyone's time guys and plan better.
