I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Block (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2019
Interview
I got referred and after about 2 week they reached out to me. I had a phone screen with Square. It was a pair programming round where I solve a coding problem in CoderPad. The interviewer was very helpful during the process and you can search things that you don't remember on Google. The process was very nice.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Block in Mar 2022
Interview
Initially, I had two pair programming interviews. Next, my recruiter called me to cheer me on and give me feedback from the previous interviews before I moved on to two more pair programming interviews. The programming problems were reasonably challenging and the engineers were great to work with. Finally, I had a technical background and Q&A interview with two engineers, then a meeting with the manager of the team, and a final check-in with my recruiter. A couple days later my recruiter called me with an offer. The whole process took ~1 month. Everyone I met with was friendly and helpful and seemed excited to work there!
