I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Oct 2025
Interview
There are five rounds, all rounds were online interviews.
Starts with an initial technical interview with a software engineer where you talked about your motivations, then work through a coding question on HackerRank, and finish with 5/10 minutes for questions.
If successful you are invited to a virtual interview day consisting of three back to back interview: two technical interviews (one harder coding and the other system design) and a behavioral interview with a member of the hiring team.
If successful there is a final behavioral round with a Senior Engineer talking about your motivations and past experiences.
They tell you if you progress 1 or 2 days after each stage.
Fair, from leetcode 150, as long as you grind leetcode would be good. First round was one question. Second round another tech question, if you don’t pass you don’t go to the next interview for super day
