I applied this summer internship position in Beijing on the Bloomberg career website in March, and I got an invitation email 10 days later. I emailed back and scheduled a phone interview. It started by introducing myself in English, later we talked mostly in Mandarin.

Interview
Zoom interview with two employees, one from sales and one from analytics department. First I did an online recorded interview and personality test. Required a lot of background knowledge on Bloomberg as well as an explanation as to why one is passionate about certain sectors in finance eg ESG.
Overall it is quick and efficient. But the whole process is relatively long. It took me a month-ish and had 6 rounds of interviews with them including the first online application and language assessment.

Interview
It was a virtual video interview where questions appeared and you had to record yourself. You had a few attempts is harder questions and usually the the recordings were supposed to be 1.30 minutes long.
