Applied online, was contacted for a phone interview. The HR scheduler that I spoke with was extremely unproffessional, unorganized, and was a pain to deal with. On the phone interview, I was told the salary range for this position and it's not competitive at all; less than I am currently making, but I figured I would see if the opportunity was worth it.
After the phone interview, I was asked to come in for the in-person interview. It consisted of speed dating- met with about 6 different interviewers in 45 minutes. The majority of them seemed disinterested, disengaged, and extremely unprofessional. This type of interviewing seemed rushed; the interviewers didn't seem to care to get to know the candidates and some were even using their cell phones as I was speaking to them. In addition, I was interviewing in a room with other candidates, so you could hear their conversations as they were being interviewed.
I thought the process couldn't get any more unprofessional, but it did. We were then taken out of the interview room and the recruiter asked us to wait in the hallway while he got feedback from the panel. He came back and proceeded to escort half of the candidates out of the building, explaining that the interviewers didn't think they were a good fit for the role. He did this in front of the other candidates (talk about humiliating). After people were weeded out, the remaining candidates had to take a finance-type "test" and then speak with a current analyst. We then met with 2 "higher-up" managers.
The job seems to double as a call center, as the role requires you to tend to "client questions" and inquries for a good portion of the job. They left it vague in terms of when they would get back to us, but as soon as I left the building I knew that this is NOT a company that I would work for.
