I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview process was handled poorly I had two technical interviews which were leetcode tagged questions and each of these interviews went well. I moved on to the system design round which was much more of a database knowledge test where I got asked SQL queries and how to make databases go faster as well as how does a index work in a database. It felt like my fate had been decided from the start with this interview as the lead interviewer just didn't seem to like me. That being said I think if I had answered everything perfectly I still would've gotten through. The porcess as a whole was a mess with interviews getting cancelled and being told I wasn't going to get to interview for the final round however when I followed up I got one. Organisation and a final interviewere who had it out for me are why I've said I had a negative experience although my other 5 interviewers were all lovely.

Question 1
Leetcode mostly and then the system design I described above.
Fair, from leetcode 150, as long as you grind leetcode would be good. First round was one question. Second round another tech question, if you don’t pass you don’t go to the next interview for super day
