I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Oct 2014
Interview
Had to interview with eight people after 5pm. More than half the interviewers were remote (i.e. done by video conference), which made for a very strange interview experience. It seemed the role was for much more than just business development, as the interviewers also asked for the person in the role to write client alerts and manage contract forms. Each of those things can constitute its own full-time job. Ultimately decided the offered salary wasn't worth it and withdrew my candidacy before they could make an offer or reject.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process was very robust. Multi level from top to bottom. They were also very communicative during the process too which was a plus. During the in-person portion of the interview, you will meet several people from HR and your future manager and team member. Your interactions with them are micro-interviews so be prepared to be on your feet and ask plenty of questions with them.
