I didn’t apply for a role at the company. A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn that they were conducting “a confidential search.” We scheduled a time to speak over the phone. At the scheduled time, this recruiter didn’t call me, so I reached out to her to see if we are still on. 45 minutes later she emailed me back saying she had overrun a meeting. At this point, I wasn’t interested in rescheduling. With such disregard for a potential candidate’s time before they are even employees says a lot about how the company treats its people. And the lack of time management skill wasn’t exactly what I expected from Bloomberg.
