Bloomberg Senior Software Engineer/Research Scientist interview questions

I learnt about the position through linkedin and applied through the Bloomberg website. I was first contacted by their HR within 2 weeks and he set up two technical phone interviews. Both the technical interviews covered Machine Learning, Data Mining and Algorithms and Data structures questions. There were two people interviewing during each call and the first half was based on questions on core Machine Learning algorithms and the second half was on writing code. The machine learning questions were good and they were very knowledgeable. The Programming questions were standard ones but not easy so you may need to prepare well. I did both interviews well but did not pass to the next level for reasons unknown to me. Their interview process is not at all informative and very secretive. The HR did not even bother to call me and explain to me the interview process. And even the interviewers were hesitant to say much about the interview process. Even after 2 technical rounds I did not know what was going to be next. I really liked the intensity and quality of their interview questions but their interview process is very badly managed and secretive.
