I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Jun 2023
Interview
1. 20-30min call with HR recruiter. This went off on a great start by canceling the call 5 min before the scheduled time, then asking for my availability to reschedule then ghosting again. After a week I finally got to talk to her, and she mentioned the role scope has changed. 2. Met two members of the teams over Zoom I would be working with. All lovely, we had a great casual chat about my background and I pitched some stories and guests. 3. Met with the head of news over Zoom, absolutely loved her and she really boosted my interest in the role! 4. HR followed up and gave fantastic feedback. Update to come. 5. Followed up with HR, she gave a new date for update. 6. Ghosted. Nada. Not even a generic "you weren't selected but we want to keep you on file" email. 7. Final follow up. Ghosted. Nada. Zilch.
