I will say this, the BCBSA’s interview process is the most unprofessional process I have ever had the opportunity to take part in. First of all, you are there for several hours. If you are a finalist for a position, you expect to get an email from the recruiting team about your status and standing. I got nothing. Even when I followed up no response from the recruiter. I didn’t even know I didn’t get the position until I checked the organization chart and saw the position I applied for was filled. I get companies and organizations do not have time to personally respond to every candidate who applies. But you should and can afford people the opportunity who took time out of their schedule to interview for you to at least let them know the status. The sad thing is: this is the second time the association has done this to me. So needless to say, I will never apply for a position with them again.
