Interview
Just left a 1st round interview sort of confused. It appeared the recruiter didn’t know much about the role. I have 10 years of experience and walked him through my experience and accomplishments. He still seemed confused.
He asks my salary requirements to which I said that due to my experience I would like to be offered close to the high end of the posted pay range. He advised that it would be a problem for me as they won’t be paying anyone the high end of the posted pay range.
My question is why post it then? So misleading.
On the plus side, at least he showed up to the interview. My last invitation to interview with this company, I was left hanging out alone in the zoom meeting with no apology for flaking on me.
