I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bluevine (Palo Alto, CA)
Interview
Applied online but don't remember when I applied after receiving an e-mail from the recruiter that he'd like to speak to me over the phone. The entire interview process from the initial e-mail to the final round of interviews took about 8 days. Recruiter was really cool and very informative on the company and role and was pretty good on getting back with e-mails for any questions I had. Ended up having two phone interviews, one with the recruiter and another with an Account Manager. The following week they brought me in for 4 1-on-1 meetings which lasted a total of 3 hours. The people seemed cool and the interviews were pretty chill and straight forward, except one of the Account Manager who makes you give a mock phone call with a customer. They hold their interviews in a public working space, so it gets kind of awkward when you're kind of doing this mock phone call with a pretend customer with really not context... and that that whole two fingers up to your ear as a pretend phone looks silly. Overall this interviewer was probably the one with the biggest ego of the 4 I interviewers I met with. Kind of weird when you have like a 23 year old judging you on your work/life experience when you're 5 years her senior. Tip: Leave you ego behind.. its not really relevant what you did in high school...
Anyways, didn't get the position. E-mailed them few days later asking them what I could have done differently so I know how to improve in future interviews but 0 responses. Oh well.
