Interview
I applied online to the ISCFP program through the Boeing career page in January and mostly forgot about it. I then received an email requesting a phone interview in early March. It took about 10 days between the email and having the actual phone interview. The interview was with a current participant of the program, which I found a bit odd. However, she really only asked me 4 scripted questions and took notes on what I said. She was then going to forward them along to the appropriate higher-ups.
She was very formal throughout the hour-long phone interview, though we did connect on a few small personal coincidences. She made mention that I would be a good fit for the program and that it seemed like I would enjoy some of the responsibilities. Overall I left the phone interview with a positive feeling that I would get to the "next round". One issue, however, is that there is very little transparency to the whole process.
Five days after the interview I received a phone call letting me know that I would be receiving an email (seemed a little odd) to request my transcript. I replied to the email with my transcript. Nine days later, after two emails asking for the status of my application, I received an email saying that I am not going to move forward.
