      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Boeing (Saint Louis, MO) in Feb 2014

      Interview

You go into a room with three people. They ask you STAR format questions and each person is looking for something specific in your responses. The three people in the room all have different backgrounds in various areas of aviation. HR isn't normally in on the interviewing process which is different from what I have normally experienced.

      Flight Operation Mechanic Interview

      Feb 17, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Saint Louis, MO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Boeing (Saint Louis, MO) in Feb 2021

      Interview

Asked questions like describe a time where you saw something unsafe happening, what was it and what did you do? And what was a time you had an error in your work, what was it and what did you do to correct it. I thought they were looking more for character traits that would show i take safety concerns and manufacturing defects seriously; this was not the case. They flat out told me they were not going to offer a position because those answers were not specific to the job and my previous job experience. Knowing this now i could have answered a good text book company answer but it would've been a completely fabricated answer, if you're ok with that prepare accordingly
