I applied online. I interviewed at Bombardier (Montreal, QC) in Dec 2025
Interview
I had an initial screening call with recruitment specialist. It was standard and warm. The call was focused on career path, reasons for interest, soft skills and certain standard issues such as work authorization, salary expectation and notice period.
The second interview was in-person with the hiring manager. They were very respectful and polite. It was truly a safe environment to discuss my background and expertise. The hiring manager allowed to establish a peer to peer tone while maintaining subtle authority. Overall it was a great experience and enjoyed the conversation.

How do you analyze technical contract?
How do you handle a variety of internal stakeholders?
I applied online. Received a phone call from a talent recruiter two weeks later. Scheduled a phone interview for one week later. Had the phone interview in which I was asked questions regarding my resume to ensure that I had the job experience (not so much skills) to do the job. Had one in person interview in which I was asked only behavioral questions such as what my managerial style was, how I would handle difficulty with employees on the job, if I had ever had to multitask in a job, etc.

The many behavioral questions that I was asked: what would I do if I knew an employee was performing poorly or inappropriately, what I would do if I was in a disagreement with my boss, etc.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Bombardier
Interview
Applied in June 2013 through personal referral. Preliminary interview over the phone in August 2013. More formal phone interview one week later, lasting approximately 40 minutes. Following this I was invited for an in person interview in Toronto in September, 4 weeks later, in October, I was invited for an interview with management in Toronto. 1 week later I was told they were prepared to make me an offer but the person who would be my direct supervisor would like to have a face to face meeting. I called three times to set up the timing for this meeting, and received no response to that, or a subsequent request for an update on whether or not my candidacy was still under consideration.
