      PMO Interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Bombardier (Cluj-Napoca)

      Interview

Worst experience ever! I applied for 3 positions on a Monday and Tuesday I`ve got a call and they asked me to come for an interview on Wednesday. All good so far. When I arrived at the interview, they`ve told me that none of those 3 positions are still available. That shows a total lack of professionalism and a huge disrespect towards the candidate. I currently have a job and we all know how hard it is to go to interviews when you already have a job. Sometimes you need some time off from your current workplace, and that can prove tricky, or you must go to the interview after 9 long hours of work and you are very tired, or you have to wake up very early and go before work. Moreover, if you already have a job, you are willing to change it only for a better one. So if I am going for an interview, I would expect to go for a position that I applied, not to go there for something I don`t like because it is just a huge waste of my time(and yours, if I don't like the position). After the interviewer told me that all 3 positions are no longer available, she told me about another job. I said: "Ok, if I`m already here, let's see what`s all this about". We talked for about 30 minutes and everything was fine. They told me that by Friday I will have a yes or no answer. I didn`t have an answer by Friday, but after a few more days I received an e-mail in which they`ve told me that I don`t have the necessary experience for the job(the one that I applied online, not the one we`ve discussed at the interview). That`s the second big lie. You`ve already told me at the interview that the position was already filled, why are you sending me an e-mail about "my lack of experience"? This shows how unprofessional they were. I mean why simply copy/paste that thing and send it to me if you`ve already told me something else? Are you lying? Are you lazy and just love to copy/paste standards e-mails? Since we`ve talked about another job at the interview, of course I didn`t understood anything from that e-mail. Was I rejected for the job that I applied online or for the job that we`ve discussed at the interview? I sent the recruiter an e-mail and politely asked her to explain the situation. She replied and told me that the previous e-mail was for the position that I`ve applied online, and regarding the job that we`ve discussed at the interview everything is good and the company`s feedback is a positive one. She even told me that I have passed the first interview and that I will have the second and final one with the team leader in a couple of days. After two weeks...no answer. In that period it was the Jobs Fair in Cluj and Bombardier had a booth over there. I went to them, showed them the e-mails between me and the recruiter and they've told me that the team leader was a little busy but within one week I should get a call. This was three and a half weeks ago. So I would really want to know what does the management feels about this? It is the company`s policy to lie the potential candidates? Do you think that it is ok to be called for an interview and then to be told that the job is already taken? Do you think it's ok to tell someone that the job is already taken, then sending him an e-mail and "accusing" him of lack of experience, when he didn't even had a chance to be interviewed for that job? To sum up, I know how to take no for an answer, but please don't lie to people and make them wait for months.
