Applied on the website. Got called in for an on-site interview. There were a panel of four which included engineers and pilots. Asked a variety of questions that tested the technical skills and overall character of the candidate.

Interview
The whole process took at least a month. It was a panel interview (3 officials related to flight testing). Behavioral questions were asked. At the end, technical questions relating to the profession were asked. Pilot experience can be very helpful as you get to know more practical stuff relating to aircraft performance and operations. Almost all people I know in this role have a pilot license. The role of an FTE is not similar to a traditional aerospace engineering design career. And trust me, it isn't for everyone.

Interview
Applied on the Bombardier Taleo Website for an open requisition - got a call two days later from HR for an on-site interview at the Bombardier Flight Test Center. Interview consisted of a panel, a Principal Engineer, and two Section Chiefs. Questions were mostly behavioral/culture-fitting, although one of the Chief asked specific questions about stability and controsl and aerodynamics. They all went through my resume thoroughly. Got an offer 48 hours later.
