Completed brief phone interview. Advised my application being forwarded to hiring manager. I received a request for FIVE references to continue. With their emails and phone numbers. Way too invasive to expect me to give up this information. And the cherry on top, when I called HR to ask when benefits become effective after hire, they don;t release that info until you have an offer!! Double standard on privacy in this day and age.
