I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Booking.com in Feb 2017
Interview
I was contacted via LinkedIn, this suprised me, since I have work experience as a designer in Marketing, but not in UX teams. Anyways, it wouldn't have mattered since the position was mostly front end developing. I took the coding test they sent and passed it, but then at the phone interview the recruiter confirmed what I already knew: My background didn't match the position. Anyways it's a shame that they don't hire designers to really design...they could use some refreshing on the UX and look & feel in their site, it looks quite outdated and messy due to excesive information.
