I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bose (New York, NY) in Nov 2013
Interview
Pretty straight forward. Thy asked a lot of generic questions. Most of the interview was them trying to feel you out and see if your a good fit for their store. Most of the management team was very nice and very upfront regarding what the position entails. Spoke with some of the staff their while I was waiting to be interviewed and everyone seems to like it there.
