I was reached directly by the HR for the Delivery Analyst role. The HR was extremely friendly and discussed more about the role. I was scheduled for an onsite round with the Team Lead and the Hiring Manager. The technical round with the team lead was scheduled for 30 mins, which went up to 45 mins. He was extremely friendly and it was two was communication on most of the questions which was a nice and boosted my confidence. He had a mix of networking and SQL based questions. He discussed about my current role and the role they were looking to hire someone for. He was courteous and asked me if I want and Snack or something to drink. Then comes the hiring manager extremely unprofessional and least interested. The round was 90 minutes 1 on 1 discussion. He comes 30 minutes late and with an incorrect resume. I told him if needed I can shoot an email with most updated resume but he was not interested. Then starts the discussion, he was not able to set up the HDMI connection and got fed up of it and asked me to show my work on my computer. I clearly told him I can't show the current work I am doing as that is Clinical Data and I have signed NDA with my current company. He still kept asking me to share my work! Dude are you serious? I again explained it to him and showed him my personal work. After seeing the first project he asks me again is this you did at one your previous jobs? I again explained him this are the projects I have done on my own. I can't share previous client's data. He became least interested in seeing my work. I showed him the second project and he was not even interested in seeing it. Then he again asks me where have you done this project? Extremely unprofessional and least courteous. I really wonder how did he even get to the managerial position. If someone would have told me once that I can't share my client data I wouldn't have asked them again about the work. After 160 mins of unhealthy discussion he leaves the room and doesn't even have the courtesy to ask me for a cup of water. And the next day I get a mail from the HR saying we are not moving forward. I was like I very well knew that right after the interview with the hiring manager.
