I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
Applied in their Spring 2021 Cycle, which they added due to hiring shortages. The process was fairly straightforward: One first round interview (in my case with a principal) and two final round interviews (principal and then partner). Interviews were pretty standard–some fit questions followed by a case.
One of the things that threw me off my final round was my first interviewer–he was dressed surprisingly casual (hoodie and jeans) and seemed completely unprepared. It also felt as if they were coming up with the case on the spot and they stressed they *didn't* want me to apply a framework but just list the steps to solve the case (I wasn't sure how to respond to that, and when I asked for a second to organize my thoughts they seemed very annoyed.)
They also asked very basic questions that were on my CV during the interview. I may not have thought much of this, but it also felt like they weren't paying attention to my responses (nor my responses to fit questions).
This *may* have been a stress test, but I have never heard of one like this. My advice is that is to expect that possibility an interviewer will seem uninterested or ask you not to use a framework.

Interview
Fácil pero con tiempo limitado. Se requiere estudiar un poco business cases. Lo malo es que es digital y nadie te evalúa solo las respuestas. Entonces testa directo ciertas habilidades en específico.
Great experience at the interview. All interviewers were very nice and open to discuss anything. The cases were challenging but appropriate for the type of work you are interviewing for. I would recommend people to apply there.
