I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boston Scientific in Dec 2007
Interview
The interview consisted of a phone interview, approximately one half-hour long. The interview was conducted by a member of HR, and the interviewer was very pleasant and easy-going. There were a few easy quiz questions, which I believe were more to release any nervousness about the interview. We spoke about the company and what the company produced, and a little about the region and what I would be doing. Overall not a difficult interview at all.

Interview
There were two interview rounds in total: the first with HR and the second with the hiring manager. Each lasted about thirty minutes and followed an informal, conversational structure. The discussions focused on my background, communication style, and overall fit for the role, rather than technical assessments or formal questioning.
15-20 minute interview with two engineers from different engineering disciplines. The questions were a mix of personal, work experience and technical questions. The interviewers were very friendly and it was a smooth process.
