I applied through LinkedIn for the Valencia, CA location. The next day I received an email from an HR rep (Jackey) about a phone screen for the following week. I passed the phone screen and had a video chat with the hiring manager (except her video didn't work so it was just me on video). She asked mostly about my past experience, if I'm okay working independently, do I have signal processing and neuroanatomy knowledge. At the end of the call she said she was inviting me to an onsite interview. At the onsite I met with 3 people (a Sr person I would work with, a clinical research scientist, a VP) and all went pretty well. The questions were mostly about me and my experience with some typical behavioral questions thrown in. I had one more video chat with a remote employee who asked some curveball questions about the business side of things (ex. if we decreased the cost of our devices 100x, would we sell 100x more?). After this interview, I heard from the HR rep who asked how it went and informed me that the response might be delayed due to the Thanksgiving holiday. I finally heard back 2 weeks after Thanksgiving that the hiring manager wanted to offer me a contract role and would I be interested in it. After that email, I heard nothing further. They fully ghosted me.
