The recruitment process involved an initial screening with HR, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and four additional interviews scheduled through a dedicated platform. Each of these interviews was conducted by a different individual, ranging from the head of medical affairs to directors of statistics and medical writing. However, some of the discussions felt unproductive, as certain interviewers were unaware of the candidate’s identity or the position being applied for. Two of the four interviews were more technical, focusing on my experience with clinical trial execution, coordination, and requirements. Despite the lengthy and exhaustive process, the outcome was communicated through an automated email from the application platform, stating that another candidate whose profile better matched their requirements was selected. No personalized feedback was provided, even after reaching out to HR to request one. Disappointing.
