In-Person Interviews
(a) 30-minute interview with a potential team member from another department.
(b) 30-minute interview with the hiring manager.
(c) 45-minute technical interview with two software engineers (one Principal, one Senior). Focused heavily on topics relevant to the role, including Java IDEs, IDE profilers, and Java multithreading. Included general questions about design patterns. I struggled with some of the more detailed Java questions since it had been a while since I worked with it. Ended with a whiteboard exercise: an easy palindrome problem, which I solved successfully.
