I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Box (Los Gatos, CA) in Sep 2012
Interview
Applied online via company website and was contacted from a recruiter by email to schedule a phone interview. The initial phone interview was pretty relaxed, the recruiter was very nice and asked typical interview questions such as tell me about yourself, experiences, why box, why this position, etc. They told me the call would last 30 mins, but mines only lasted for 12-15 mins and then scheduled another phone interview to speak with the hiring manager the next day.
The second phone interview asked more in-depth questions. The hiring manager first explained more about the position and then asked questions about my experiences and how it relates to the position I applied for, how I would explain what Box is to a stranger, why I am interested in working with Box and why this position. The recruiter also asked about my thoughts about customer support/services success.
A week later, I received an email saying that both interviewers enjoyed speaking with me and said that my experience is impressive, but not a direct match for what they're looking for. The hiring manager went to the same university as I did...I guess that didn't help. However, Box seems too be a nice place to work for, especially for a recent grad. From speaking with my interviewers, the company is very young, energetic and really passionate about what they do. I would have taken the job if given an offer.

Question 1
I didn't think the questions were difficult or unexpected. As long as you do your homework and research the company and position, you'll be okay.
