I had a initial call to learn more about the culture of the agency which was a bit generic. I did not get a very clear idea of the role and what would be expected of me. Then a few days later I was asked to work on a task remotely. My screen was being recorded/watched and I was given access to an ad account. The task was to audit this ad account. Initially I had been told the task would involve data analysis and recommendations but the at was not the case. I was not allowed to use Excel, only Ads Manager and a google sheets document in which I had to write down my notes about the audit. I was very confused because nothing was explained clearly and it ended on a very negative note with the person overlooking the task telling me I did not have enough experience (despite the fact that I had more than one year agency experience running, optimising and reporting on paid social campaigns!). The WORST interview experience I have had in my life!
