I went through 6 rounds of interviews and worked on a pretty laborious project presentation. I received a verbal offer over the video call but three days later they rescinded the offer over email due to "economic times". This was particularly annoying because during the interview process I asked several times about the security of the role and was told how important this role was for the business.
