I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Brainlabs
Interview
All the interviews are done virtually. Company is in Singapore. 3 stages.
First stage with recruiter is easy. Just finding out about your background, etc.
In second stage, with partner, he will look like he is highly interested and mentioned about his company culture.
Then they assign you a case presentation to do up. Did everything well on a new industry.
3rd stage - On the day of presentation, there were 3 interviewers including partner and VP. They ask very specific questions about the industry although their portfolio might only consist of 2-5% of that industry. They give you the impression that you are perform well and highly keen in giving you an offer.
Ultimately, I was rejected and they stated that the presentation was excellent and detailed and much effort has been placed on it. But the Q&A on that industry was inadequate. How do you expect someone to have answers to very specific questions on that industry.
The company emphasises on diversity and open learning. Apparently, they want you to already know answers to everything.
First round of interview. Initially, the interviewer mixed up the timezones for the interview. So I was in the digital waiting room for almost an hour. After emailing them, I was told about this mix up. They then arranged for another day for interview.
The interview was a simple introduction about myself and my career goals.
