I applied online and was notified via email that my resume was selected to be reviewed within a week. I was contacted by the recruiter to setup a phone interview about a week later. The phone interview was the following week. The entire process took about 3 weeks.
Constructive Criticism: Post the salary range for the positions! This will save not only the job seeker's time, but the recruiter's time as well. This will also eliminate the job seeker spending X amount of time tailoring their resume for the position to ensure certain "key words" are included to hopefully make it past the online system. The recruiter will also save time by not having to review those resumes that do make it to them as well as not having to make the phone calls to potential candidates.
Also, what's the point to requiring job seekers to list an actual number (vs. text) on the online application for your required salary if the recruiter does not pay attention to it? The required salary I included on the online application was at least $15K over what the position paid. I am thankful that the recruiter mentioned the salary range within 5 mins of the phone interview. This was however after the recruiter asked my salary at my current job. I declined to go further after the salary range was mentioned.
