The company is located in a university town, with a population of 20,000 and no major town within 100-mile radius. It's fairly small company. I was interviewed by the HR and immediately was called for on-location interview. Interview included a presentation, a tour of city with HR and then group interviews with different teams. It was not a difficult interview, they asked mostly easy questions and never went out of the resume. During the interview itself, I and the interviewer figured out that this job is not for my profile. May be it was the mistake of HR who interviewed and called me for onsite interview without second phone screening with a technical person. The only thing I regret is I lost a day's pay for attending this interview. Although I was never offered the job, but I would have declined it in any case.
