I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Bristol Myers Squibb (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2023
Interview
Two interviews. First one with the hiring manager, went well. The second with a panel of 6 BMS reps. The body language and the questioning from the most senior interviewer was immediately negative from the get go. They couldn't even sit up straight or make an introduction beyond a muffled grunt. It was clear they were not what I was looking for, which is fair enough but they forgot they were representing their organisation. Contagion set in to 3 other BMS panel members, falling into line behind a senior leader and effectively turning off. It was obvious to the other 2 on the panel that I could clearly see this and they really did try and make an effort to save face. Obviously they valued and appreciated the need to ensure all candidates have a positive perception irrespective of outcome. I haven't heard from the organisation since, ghosted despite requests for feedback. For an organisation that apparently lives by it's values, not what I would expect. I would be deterred from applying with BMS in the future.
