      Product Line Manager Interview

      Aug 7, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Brooks Running

      Interview

Total lack of professionalism and respect for candidates who are scheduling their time for you. My 30 mins phone interview was scheduled Tuesday, 8/4/20. Tuesday comes, the recruiter sends an email an hour before our call to ask if we can postpone it later because of ''conflict in his schedule''... which I agreed and reschedule the same day in the afternoon (because I also have to manage and prepare for interviews). 4 pm ...nothing. I'm waiting for 5 mins, 10 mins after 20 mins I send an email to reschedule for Friday at 10 am. The recruiter reaches out an hour later saying quote: ''I'm sorry for missing tonight's call. Just home with the kids and wife is at her office and the day became compromised.'' Guess what...Friday morning...no call. After reading the bad reviews and interview comments saying that this company promotes "Boys club environment'' and offers "Low pay'' I was kind of skeptical but decided to give it a try since the position attracted me and the Brand equity of Brooks is good. Also, maybe you should consider aligning your HR culture with the values your marketing is promoting in terms of values, brand identity & positioning.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Brooks Running in Sep 2013

      Interview

The first round was a call with the recruiter. The second round involved an hour-long phone interview with the hiring manager. The final round was about a half day meeting with 2-3 people at at time that represented different parts of the organization who I would interact with on a daily basis. This round also involved giving a presentation.
